Bellevue Bay Waterpark

Bellevue, NE

Earthwork for the Mattel Wonder Indoor Waterpark at Bellevue Bay, a city-owned, 140,000-square-foot indoor and outdoor waterpark at the center of Bellevue’s 575-acre Good Life District. Leick crews handled the basement excavation, basement backfill, and retaining walls.

The $60 million project broke ground in March 2025 near Highways 75 and 34. Plans include a 60,000-square-foot retractable roof enclosure, water slides, a lazy river, and a climate-controlled walkway to the hotels, dining, and retail planned around it.

Structural Wall Building Site

Pottawattamie County, IA

The project consisted of overexcavation of a building site and construction of structural segmental block walls up to 15 feet tall to support building loads.
